LHC allows Raja Ashraf to contest elections on NA-123

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has annulled verdict of election tribunal and allowed former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to contest elections on NA-123, Geo News reported.

The full bench of LHC on Monday heard appeal against rejection of nomination papers of Raja Pervez Ashraf on NA-123. Farooq H Naek and Latif Khosa represented former prime minister in the court.

The court declared Raja Ashraf eligible and allowed him to run for the elections on NA-123.
