Crippling heat wave prevails across Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Severe heat wave is continuing across the country and several areas braved up to 45 degree centigrade of mercury level, Geo News reported.

In Lahore, highest temperature of 45 degree centigrade was recoded in Lahore, Multan, D G Khan and Jehlum.

On Thursday, record temperature was witnessed in Faisalabad and Nawabshah. It broke a record of 18 and 19 years respectively.

Meanwhile, 18 to 22 hours power outages have further added the miseries of masses in the scorching weather. Loadshedding has brought life on standstill.

To beat the heat, people have increased use of cold drinks and fresh juices besides moving towards canals and ponds.
