Taking Balochistan’s issue seriously: Malik Baloch
QUETTA: Nominated Chief Minister for Balochistan and National Party’s chief Abdul Malik Baloch on Sunday said that they were taking the issue of Balochistan seriously and that efforts would be made to create a situation where dissident Baloch people and nationalists can be convinced to sit at the negotiation table, Geo News reported.

Talking to newsmen after being nominated for Balochistan CM slot, Dr. Malik Baloch said that Sardar Attaullah Mengal, Sardar Akhter Mengal and workers of Balochistan National Party (BNP) had to their credit a great struggle for the province.

He urged BNP leaders to joins hands and work for the collective interests of the province and to resolve its burning issues. He vowed to resolve these issues in collaboration with its coalition partners.

Responding to a question, Mr. Baloch said that Nawaz Akber Bugti was a great leader of the province and that all the measures would be adopted that can help in getting to the accused of Bugti’s murder.

Later, addressing his party workers, the NP chief claimed that the next government of Balochistan would not be like previous regimes, adding that he would evolve good governance in the province and ensure rights to the legitimate people.
