PML-N gives clean chit to Mamnoon Hussain to contest presidential poll

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N)’s central leaders in a meeting with the Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the chair finally approved the candidature of Mamnoon Hussain for presidential election on Wednesday morning here, Geo News reported

Sources said that the meeting deliberating over the party candidate for the upcoming presidential election finally ratified Mamnoon Hussain’s candidature for president as proposed by the prime minister himself.

Following this approval, Mamnoon Hussain accompanied by the central leaders of the party would be submitting his nomination papers shortly.
