Three injured as policeman opens fire in Lahore

LAHORE: At least three people including a child were injured when a policeman opened fire in Kot Lakhpat area, Geo News reported.

Motive behind the firing was yet to be ascertained. A large number of people protested against the incident at the Peeko Road and thrashed the cop.

TV footage showed people beating the cop and tearing off his shirt before authorities assured the people that action would be taken against the policemen. A case has been lodged against the policemen.
