Karachi: One held, three accomplices flee in alleged police encounter

KARACHI: One accused was arrested, while three others escaped in an alleged police encounter in Sultanabad area on Sunday here, Geo News reported.

Police said that an accused Bakhtiar was captured, while three of his accomplices after trading fire with the police party managed to flee away during an alleged encounter in Sultanabad area here.

Police claimed that the accused was involved in firing on constable Shafique was wanted by them in the case. One 30-bore pistol and bullets were also recovered from the accused Bakhtiar, police said.
