KARACHI: The toll in Lyari firing incident rose to three when an injured man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital Thursday morning, Geo News reported.
According to police, at least two people were killed and another was injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Lyari late on Wednesday night.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on P-1 passenger bus in Agra Taj colony of Lyari near a bus stop. As a result, one person died instantly while two others got injured who were rushed to Civil Hospital for treatment.
One of the injured died there after some time while the third one also succumbed to his injuries today morning, raising the toll to three, police told.
A body bearing bullet wounds was also found from the same area early morning after which the total count of casualties in one day has risen to four.
