Difa-e-Pakistan Council rallies against drone attacks
LAHORE: Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) rallied from Neela Gunbad to Masjid e Shuhada in a protest against drone attacks here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

The participants of the rally have reached Masjid-e-Shahuda where public meeting has been organized.

The protestors, holding banners and placards, are chanting anti-drone slogans. The demonstrators demanded stoppage of drone attacks as they said the assaults are against national security and sovereignty.

Addressing the gathering, Jamiat-e Ulema-e Islam-Sami (JUI-S) Chief Maulana Samiul-Haq has demanded of the government to implement resolutions adopted in National Assembly and all parties conference regarding drone strikes.

He appealed all the religious parties to join hands at a common platform.
