Karachi: Sharmila’s car snatched, MQM’s MPA looted

KARACHI: An official car used by Advisor to the chief minister Sharmeela Faqooqi has been robbed in New Town area of the metropolis, while Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s member of provincial assembly (MPA) was also looted on Friday.

According to police, unidentified armed men snatched the car of Sharmeela Farooqui from her driver in New Town area.

Meanwhile, two robbers snatched mobile phone and cash from MPA Mehmoodur Razzaq. Police said that the snatchers opened fire as the MPA resisted robbery, however, he remained unharmed.

DIG West Munir Shaikh said that one alleged robber has been arrested.
