Consultations continue over removing Musharraf’s name from ECL

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif continues his consultations with the top leadership of the PML-N over whether former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s name should be removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).

Information Minister Parvez Rashid called on Prime Minister Sharif on Wednesday and discussed issues related to Musharraf after he was indicted.

According to sources the information minister also discussed matters related to the media with Prime Minister Sharif.

Railways Minister and PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said a decision on Musharraf’s petition would be made in the next few days.
