Pakistan’s Misbah sets fastest Test fifty record
ABU DHABI: Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul Haq set a new world record for the fastest Test half-century, reaching 50 off just 21 balls, on the fourth day of the second Test against Australia on Sunday.

The previous record was held by South Africa´s Jacques Kallis, scored off 24 balls against Zimbabwe at Cape Town in 2004.

He hit four boundaries and as many sixes. Pakistan, who won the first Test by 221 runs in Dubai, look well set to achieve their first series victory over mighty Australia since 1994.
