Aleem Dar to supervise 15 World T20 matches
DHAKA: International Cricket Council (ICC) announced names of the match officials for the World Twenty20 tournament scheduled to be held in Bangladesh from March 16 to April 6.

The main fixture of the mega event will be played between arch rivals Pakistan and India on March 21. This match will be supervised by Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka) and Richard Kettleborough (England).

The match referees, appointed by the ICC are David Boon (Australia), Ranjan Madugalle, Roshan Mahanama (Sri Lanka) and Krishnaraj Srinath (India).

The ICC also named eleven umpires from various countries for 35 matches to be played in the tournament.

Pakistan’s Aleem Dar will supervise 15 matches in the World T20 - 11 matches as field umpire and four matches as third umpire.

The officials for the semi-finals and the final will be announced later.
