Bangladesh take Asia Cup revenge on Afghanistan in World T20

DHAKA: Bangladesh easily won the opening match of the first round in the fifth World Twenty20 when they defeated Afghanistan by nine wickets here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Sunday.

Chasing an easy target of 73, the hosts completed their victory in just twelve overs after losing one wicket.

They took the revenge on Afghanistan of their 32-run defeat on March 1 in the Asia Cup.
