ECP issues victory notification for LG polls, winning candidates to take oath today

KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday issued the notification of victory confirming the candidates for oath taking at the Polo Ground later today.
The ECP notified the winning candidates for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, along with the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen across the province. However the notification District West in Karachi and nine other districts have been withheld.
The oath taking ceremony was shrouded in an air of uncertainty till the final hour.
Following the notification preparations for the oath taking at the Gushan-e-Jinnah (Polo Ground) have been completed.
