Lahore private school closes after collecting fees

LAHORE: A private school owner in the Islamapura area of the city collected fees and then shut the school down. The owner is allegedly on the run. 

The school had been opened by brothers Zeeshan and Rehan Haider one year ago. A few days ago the school was shut citing repairs which needed to be made. On Monday, when parents along with their children arrived at the school they saw it was shut. They started protesting and made their way to the police station with the children still in their school attire. 

Parents claim that the owners collected fees and fled. In a statement police officials said the case was being evaluated and action would be taken according to the law.
