Few days ago, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in New York to attend the UNGA session.
In his UNGA speech, he had highlighted Indian human rights abuses in Indian Occupied Kashmir and said that peace between India and Pakistan cannot be achieved without a resolution to the Kashmir dispute.
The premier had demanded a UN fact-finding mission to Kashmir to take stock of extra-judicial killings.
He also had called for a UN-backed plebiscite, demanding the demilitarisation of Jammu and Kashmir.
