Curfew imposed in parts of Khyber Agency after attack on checkpost

LANDI KOTAL: An indefinite curfew has been imposed in Bara and Jamrud districts of Khyber Agency following terrorist attack on a checkpost late Saturday night, Geo News reported.

Pak-Afghan Shahrah has also been closed for traffic in the aftermath of the attack.

A khasadar was killed and three FC personnel were injured when gunmen attacked a checkpost in Jamrud on Saturday.

The gunmen opened fire at Takhta Beg checkpost at around 9pm, security officials said. In the shootout which ensued, a khasadar identified as Shahid Khan was killed.
