Anil Kapoor, Sridevi to share screen together for Mr India 2

While Anil Kapoor and Sridevi have been one of the best on-screen couples in the past, their movie my India also broke many records in the Bollywood.
The duo was not only famous for their on-screen chemistry but also allegedly had an affair in the past.
Anil Kapoor and Sridevi did not share the screen together after Sridevi married Anil Kapoor's elder brother Boney Kapoor.
But according to Indian media sources, after almost two decades, the duo is all set to share the screen together again for the sequel of Mr. India.
As per the source close to the sequel’s production, “The idea is to take the story forward, but not just for the heck of it. We wanted a solid plot, and we have got it.”
The source also revealed that Sridevi and Anil Kapoor wouldn’t be the only important actors working in the sequel.
The film will be helmed by a new director and will also feature two fresh faces in the lead roles
Shekhar Kapoor directed the original Mr. India and the film had one of its iconic character Mogambo, played by Amrish Puri.
