ISLAMABAD: The top US military officer Admiral Mike Mullen Wednesday said that Pakistan and US relationship has been facing difficulties for the past few months after the Raymond Davis crisis.
While talking to the resident editor of the daily Jang, Mike Mullen said that he came to Pakistan in keeping the view of Pakistan-US relationship and the importance of the region.
He said, “I am determined to sustain the relationship between Pakistan and United States.”
Mullen said that Pakistan, Afghanistan and US are facing security threats in the region, adding that the threat would be combated with joint efforts.
He termed the issue of Kashmir as a big challenge in the region. He said that the resolve of Kashmir would help Pakistan to solve various other issues with India.
