LAHORE: Punjab Home Department has alerted the law enforcing agencies that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the hit-list of terrorists' who were at work to target him, Geo News reported Thursday.
A circular issued by the Punjab Home Department, said terrorist groups including Hayatullah Afghani, Pir Alam, Commandar Imran Noorwali and Fazlullah Group were enjoying funding from secret foreign organizations.
These terrorists may target Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, senior military officials and/or Mazar Bibi Pak Daman, the circular said.
The Home Department has directed for stepping up security for the Punjab Chief Minister and mazars in the province.
