IHC not to observe 2 weekly off-days

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will not observe two weekly holidays, as the court did not receive notification, says Registrar Ateeq-ur-Rehman of the IHC.

Talking to APP, he said that the IHC and its subordinate Judiciary would remain functional on Saturdays.

However, the final decision would be taken after receiving the notification and with the consultation of the Supreme Court, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that, the federal government had announced two weekly holidays in government and semi-government organizations under a vigorous energy saving campaign. (APP)
