Prince Andrew once schooled nephew Prince Harry on wishing to have a 'normal' life.

Queen's favourite son, Andrew, who just got himself out of a sexual assault scandal, asked Harry to own up to his responsibilities, claims royal biographer.

Mr Hutchins in his book, ‘Harry: The People’s Prince’, the Duke of Sussex details the incident.

“The story goes that [Harry’s] uncle Prince Andrew once told Harry, ‘Look, you’re not normal, so stop trying to be," said Andrew.

“‘You’ve got certain responsibilities.’” he declared

In Harry's 2021 show The Me You Can’t See, the Duke of Sussex revealed how he craves for a life away from public eye.

He said: “I always wanted to be normal. As opposed to being Prince Harry, just being Harry. It was a puzzling life.”

He shared his years in the Armed Forces were definitely one of the happiest times of his life.

Prince Andrew has often been mocked by royal staffers and insiders over his shrewd behaviour. Detailing this, Mr Hutchins confessed Harry was disturbed by his uncle's rude comments.

Mr Hutchins wrote: “Prince Harry owes his good manners and ability to get on with people, say royal staffers, to the example set by his mother Diana.

“‘She would often bring William and Harry down to the kitchen to say thank you after a meal they’d enjoyed’”shared the author.

Prince Harry set aside his position as a senior royal to move to US with wife Meghan Markle. The couple now has a mansion in Montecito, California where they live with their children; Archie and Lilibet.
