Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, crossed paths with Emerald Fennell on Women's Day.

The 74-year-old to-be Queen consort had an amusing interaction with Camilla Parker from The Crown, where the duo briefly joked about the odds.

Emerald essays the role of Prince Charles' then lover, Camilla, in  Seasons 3 and 4 of Netflix series.

“I was nervous I might be thrown in the Tower — but so far, so good,” Emerald joked at the Clarence House event. “[Camilla] has been in the spotlight for a long time and has always weathered it with grace.”

The duchess, too, joined in to praise the Oscar winner.

“For me, it’s very reassuring to know that if I should fall off my perch at any moment, my fictional alter ego is here to take over,” Parker-Bowles quipped. “So, Emerald — be prepared!”

“It was particularly nice to meet her today on International Women’s Day because, you know, she does so much for so many particularly female charities,” the actress added, regarding the duchess for her efforts.

Camilla's role in season 5 and 6 of The Crown will now be taken over by Olivia Williams.
