Prince Charles is asked to give the Crown to Prince William after Queen death.
While the 95-year-old monarch is frail and moving towards her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Britons are standing in favour of the Duke of Cambridge to be the next King.
The Ipsos research found that 42% of 2,055 British adults think that William should be the upcoming monarch.
24% want the order to follow and she Charles do the honours while 29% are neutral over the question.
Asked if Charles will do a good job, 48% voted in favour while other other 19% predicted otherwise. 27% believe he will do neither a good nor bad job.
However, the Prince of Wales is in good luck as his popularity has risen by 11% since 2018- now standing at 43%.
While Charles is gradually progressing in the good books of Britons, his son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in deep waters.
The study declares that 30% like Harry – down 35 percentage points from 2018 – while just 24% think highly of Meghan, down 16 points.
