Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are apparently losing popularity and being shunned by their friends at family events.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly did not make the guest list for their friends David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's eldest son's wedding on Saturday. Brooklyn Beckham has married billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz in a lavish ceremony at her family’s £76 million home in Florida.
According to reports Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William turned down their invitation whilst Meghan and Harry were not invited at all.
The Sussexes are also losing popularity in America as Novelist Celia Walden has claimed that Meghan Markle made the "crucial misstep" of forgetting that the whole of the US loves the Queen.
Piers Morgan's wife has savaged the Duchess of Sussex said: "I thought maybe people would be protective of her out here, but not at all.
"She’s just a figure of fun and the crucial misstep she made is forgetting that the whole of the US love the Queen. So, anyone who is deemed to have affronted the Queen, or behaved badly in that regard, is just not going to go down well," Walden spoke to Dan Wootton.
The award-winning author also referenced the joke Rebel Wilson made about the infamous Oprah interview at the this year's' BAFTA awards.
The royal couple also skipped the Oscars this year even though they are struggling to win Hollywood after quitting the royal jobs.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have most recently received widespread criticism for missing the Queen's late husband Prince Philip's memorial service over security issues.
On Friday, it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make the trip to The Hague to attend the fifth Invictus Games.
The decision to travel to the continent rather than the UK prompted a wave of backlash against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are yet to introduce youngest child Lilibet to most of the Royal Family in the UK. The move had raised eyebrows among Harry’s family members as well as the public.
