Scott Disick reveals reason of his breakup with Kourtney Kardashian: Still adjusting to losing her

Scott Disick appeared to be little upset as he opened up about losing his kids' mom and best friend Kourtney Kardashian.

Shedding light on his and Kourtney's relationship, Disick revealed it has been a “huge adjustment” losing her as his “best friend” while she grew closer to the American musician Travis Barker.

Scott and Kardashian - who share kids Mason, Penelope and Reign - dated until 2015. The two remained best friend even after split and were proudly co-parenting their kids.

The 38-year-old reflected on how their co-parenting dynamic had changed since she became romantically involved with the drummer.

During the series premiere of The Kardashians, Disick confided in Khloe Kardashian about the impact of his ex moving on.

“Now that Kourtney’s got her life with Travis, as hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on,” Disick told Khloe Kardashian.

The dad-of-three also revealed growing distant from Kourtney Kardashian felt like one of the “more difficult things” in his life.

He added: “It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically, but now it’s becoming a huge adjustment losing her as a best friend. Now we’re really just more co-parents. I’d say it’s probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”

Scott Disick, who's on good terms with the Kardashian family, admitted he felt “left out” when he wasn’t invited to a BBQ that was attended by his ex and Barker. He is still adjusting to losing Kourtney as a best friend and felt like he’s missing out on some family activities.
