No respite from Karachi violence, 3 more killed
KARACHI: The city witnessed no respite from the on-going violence in the metropolis as three men including a political party worker were gunned down in different firing incidents on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to police, a man identified as Hanif was killed by unknown gunmen in Liaqatabad area.

Unidentified miscreants riding a motorcycle killed a political party worker in Orangi Town who was identified as Mohammad Bashir while another man, Malik Feroze was wounded in the same incident.

The third victim was shot dead in Aram Bagh area near Furniture Market whose body was shifted to hospital for identification.

On the other hand, Sindh Rangers held scores of suspects during multiple targeted operations in Karachi recovering firearms and ammo early on Thursday.

Sources told that Rangers personnel combed parts of Old City and Lyari in search of malefactors. These areas included Chakiwarda, Jadgal Chowk, Dhobi Ghat, and Kashti Chowk. Rangers also raided buildings in Gadap and Mehmoodabad and nabbed four suspects with weapons and ammo.

The arrested suspects were later moved to unknown locations for further investigation, the sources said.
