US: MQM convention in Houston Texas on June 29

DALLAS, Texas: The annual convention of North Texas Chapter of Muttahida Qaumi Movement will be held on 29th of June in Houston Texas.

According to MQM Houston unit in-charge Imtiaz Ahsan the convention would last till July 1.

Quaid-e-Tahreek Altaf Hussain will address the event via telephone from London, he added.

Ahsan also said that unit in-charges and party office bearers from all over North America would attend different training/strategy sessions planned for June 29.

Moreover the June 30 session at Pakistan Center would be the most important as Quaid-e-Tahreek Altaf Hussain would address the gathering live from London, Ahsan said.

The convention spokesman went on to add that Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Farooq Sattar as well as other main leaders like Khushbakht Shujaat, Faisal Subzwari, Rauf Siddiqui, Anwar Alam, and Shamim Siddiqui were also expected to attend to the convention.

However, the convener of North America Dr. Maqbool Siddiqui, Ebad-ur-Rehman, central organizer Junaid Naseem, and other officers had confirmed to participate in all the programs of the convention, he said.
