Jennifer Garner opens up about toughest part of parenting

Jennifer Garner is a mother of three and she says the toughest thing she faces in parenting is to allow self-decision in kids.

“I have a really hard time not saying, ‘This is what I see you as,’ and, ‘I think you should,'” the 51-year-old told People. “I have to sit on my hands.”

However, Ben Affleck’s ex said her parents, too, allowed her to grow up in the same environment. The actress said she now is “amazed by” since it is “so hard.”

Watching her children's personal growth, Jennifer said, “I’m just watching them in this new phase of life where they’re figuring out who they’re going to be and what they’re going to study.”

The Golden Globe winner continued, “And I’m so interested in them. All the time, I’m interested in everything about them.”

Jennifer first became a mom in 2005 while the rest were born in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
