Tom Cruise found himself entangled in David Beckham's legal dispute with Mark Wahlberg following his attendance at Victoria's birthday party.

The lavish birthday celebration, included several high-profile celebrities including, Cruise, Salma Hayek and all the Spice Girls members.

However, it was Cruise's presence that reignited a past controversy linked to comments he made in 2013.

According to Mirror report, in 2013 comments, the actor compared the challenges of acting to those faced by soldiers, a statement that initially provoked a strong disapproval from Wahlberg, who emphasized on the unique hardships of military personnel.

He said, "You don’t do what these guys do. You just don’t. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as being in the military. How [expletive] dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours. I don’t give a [expletive] if you’re getting your [expletive] busted. You get to go home at the end of the day."

Later in an interview with TMZ, Wahlberg clear that he "didn’t know that it was Tom Cruise that said that," adding, "I love Tom Cruise. I have much respect for Tom Cruise, but I have just as much respect for military guys, so it’s just unfair for anybody to comment on that."
