Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds looked back on their viral kiss at the 2017 Golden Globes.

in a recent chat on Variety's Actors on Actors series, Garfield and Reynolds talked about their films We Live in Time and Deadpool & Wolverine.

The duo also candidly chatted about the moment when they kissed after Reynolds lost out on the Best Actor award to Ryan Gosling for La La Land.

"The last time I saw you was the Golden Globes," the Free Guy actor said to Garfield. "Garfield was sitting beside me, and he goes, 'Hey, if they call your name and you win, don't kiss your wife [Blake Lively], just kiss me."

"And of course, Gosling absolutely did not deserve it," the Deadpool actor said jokingly,  the Spider-Man star laughed.

"I'm a genuine nutty fan of his," Reynolds clarified.

Reynolds further recalled saying, "I love that we were just sitting there and were just like, 'Ah, let's do it anyways," adding that their hilarious act was caught on camera but it was wide shot so people notice it later that night."

Garfield chimed in that he was "glad that you (Reynolds) were you were game" to share the kiss even though it was a joke.

"I also retrospectively felt a little bit insensitive towards Ryan's moment," The Social Network actor noted, to which Reynold expressed his agreement.

"Nobody actually noticed until later and it was actually kind of perfect," Reynolds quipped.
