Zayn Malik just catered to his One Direction fan base!
The Pillowtalk hitmaker, who departed from the famous boy band in 2015 has now made an unexpected announcement during his Stairway to the Sky tour show in Washington DC.
According to social media, the artist who skyrocketed to fame in 2010 alongside band mates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and the late Liam Payne - addressed his spectators to ask if they liked the song he was performing.
"Maybe I’ll mix it up at some point, maybe a 1D song in there or something," he mentioned that garnered applause from his audience.
However, Malik then proceeded to clarify, "Don’t get excited, not tonight! Sorry, I didn’t mean to tease you like [that]. It’s not tonight."
This announcement by the Dusk Till Dawn singer comes after the tragic demise of Liam Payne, who passed away due to “polytrauma” after falling from the third floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, 2024.
Zayn Malik paid a heartfelt tribute to his late band mate via a social media post, where he wrote, "I loved and respected you dearly. I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever. There [are] no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated. I hope that wherever you are right now, you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are."
