LAHORE: Imran Khan might not be able to run his election campaign anymore as doctors have advised him at least three-week rest for a full recovery from the wounds he received on his back and head after falling off a lifter taking him on to the stage in Lahore where he was to address a rally on Tuesday.
Assad Umar, senior leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) told Geo News that movement of the party chief would be restricted due to his health condition. However, he said that the top leadership of the party would devise election strategy in the wake of the incident.
The PTI suffered this setback just three days before the country enters historical election on May 11.
Till Tuesday evening, Imran Khan had been energetically carrying out his election campaign in the run-up to the upcoming general election scheduled for May 11, holding several rallies every single day across Pakistan’s major cities and towns.
