Cassie namedrops Britney Spears in Diddy's trial

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura namedropped some celebrities, including Britney Spears on Thursday when she took to the stand for the sex trafficking trial against the rapper.

Ventura, who has been detailing the sexual, physical, and psychological abuse she endured in her 11-year-long on-off relationship with Combs, also recalled other instances such as her 21st birthday bash in Las Vegas.

Ventura testified that Combs had brought pop sensation Spears to her 21st birthday bash in Las Vegas and also reportedly invited singer-songwriter Dallas Austin to the festivities.

At the time, Ventura was already on Combs' record label books and claimed in the recent hearing that their relationship had been purely professional until that night when Combs planted a kiss on her during the party.

"Britney, Diddy, and Cassie are pictured together in Las Vegas in 2007," the entry notes said. Cassie's then-boyfriend, Ryan Leslie, was also at the party.

However, Spears has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

The Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in September on suspicions of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution and has since denied all accusations levelled against him, including the civil cases against him. 

The rapper being held at a Brooklyn detention center after multiple bail applications being denied.
