Prince Harry, Prince William rift gets worse: ‘Something really bad must have happened’

Prince William’s distance from Prince Harry has led experts to hypothesize the existence of something ‘really bad’ being at play.

Royal author Robert Jobson recently sat down with royal photographer Arthur Edwards to discuss the prospects of something ‘really bad’ having happened between Prince Harry and Prince William.

They discussed this on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, and Mr Edwards was the first to put his thoughts forward.

He believes, “William and Harry were so close all their life, everything they did together. They went and they did everything together. They were so close.” So “now something must have happened that seriously happened that William just can't stand him anymore. And that's just so sad.”

However, “I do believe in the prodigal son,” Mr Edwards also clarified because “you can say, I'm sorry and repent and promise not to do it again. And I'm sure the King and William will say ‘ok, let's give it another try’.” And “he's got to stop this talking about stitch ups and things like that.”

Mr Jobson though only chimed in long enough to issue a reminder about who should make the first move in this family rift and said, “I really don't know how the King can make the first move unless he can trust his son.”

Especially since “at the moment, we've not seen any evidence as to why he should,” he even added before signing off.

For those unversed with the sudden increase in backlash towards the Duke of Sussex, he is being hit with wave after wave, all because of his most recent interview with the BBC.

It aired after he had lost his appeal for taxpayer funded security, and it discussed everything from the case to his relationships.

However the part that left royal fans reeling was when he said, “I would love reconciliation with my family," but "there's no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff. But it would be nice to reconcile.”

And due to the lack of security he announced as well, at the time, "I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point. The things that they're going to miss is, well, everything. I love my country, I always have done, despite what some people in that country have done."
