Melissa Benoist shares her thoughts on 'The Waterfront' cast ahead of June 19 release

Melissa Benoist on Thursday took to Instagram to share the trailer for her upcoming Netflix series.

The "Supergirl" actress also shared her thoughts about the cast of the series in the caption for her post.

 "Loved this group of people and can’t wait for y’all to see it," she wrote.

According to Netflix, the new series that is inspired by true events, will arrive on  June 19.

The drama is created by renowned screenwriter and director Kevin Williamson, who also has titles like Dawson’s Creek and Scream to his credit.

The story revolves around a North Carolina’s coastal family who has ruled the local fishing industry and restaurant scene. Now, however, their reign is faced with an existential threat.

Melissa Benoist plays Bree who is battling her own demons as an addict in recovery and fighting to regain custody of her son. 

Her entangled relationships threaten to unravel the family’s already fragile future.
