Meghan Markle confessed she finds it difficult to explain what she does for a living in latest candid interview amid reports of her professional separation from Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex said “I don’t know what I would call myself” while speaking of her career hardships five years after stepping down as senior working royal alongside Prince Harry.
Meghan, who has taken on many different projects since moving to the US with the Duke of Sussex, said this feeling of uncertainty is something many people can relate to.
In an interview with Fast Company, Meghan said, "If I had to write a résumé, I don't know what I would call myself."
She added that his uncertainty "speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note.”
"I believe all the notes I am playing are part of the same song."
Meghan has been involved with a number of projects since leaving the Royal family, including documentaries, lifestyle series for Netflix titled With Love, Meghan, lifestyle brand titled As Ever, podcasts with recent most being Confessions of a Female Founder, and also published a book for kids.
During the interview, the former Suits star also hinted on experimenting with fashion as she revealed she might expand her brand into fashion.
"The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that's an interesting space for me," said Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s mom.
This comes amid reports that Harry and Meghan are planning to part ways professionally after seven years of marriage.
The couple is said to be taking a new step in their professional lives by setting up separate teams and working independently.
According to reports, the Duke of Sussex has spent the past nine months planning the move, and both he and Meghan will now have their own chiefs of staff.
