Prince Harry has reportedly got an 'ideal opportunity' to reunite with his estranged father King Charles after major announcement, a royal expert believes.

The duke’s IGF has confirmed the dates for his UK return in 2027, when the Invictus Games will take place in Birmingham.

The Invictus Games Foundation says, “Birmingham is set to become the global stage for courage, determination, and inspiration as the official dates for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 are announced.

“The Games will run from 10th to 17th July 2027, with the formal opening ceremony on Saturday 10 July, welcoming nations from around the globe, to the closing party on 17 July, for the participants, their friends and families to celebrate their achievements.”

Commenting after the announcement, royal expert Camilla Tominey has hinted that the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham might present an ideal chance for Prince Harry and King Charles to bridge their rift, assuming both parties are keen.

The expert went on saying: "Equally exploratory have been discussions about if or when father and son could ever be reunited, with some mooting that the next Invictus Games could provide an opportunity when it is held in Birmingham in 2027."

Meanwhile, Prince Harry released an emotional statement as the Final Report on the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 was revealed.

Harry says, “I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making these extraordinary Games possible, most of all the Four Host First Nations who welcomed us into their land.

“To the tens of thousands who packed the stands, I thank you for creating an unforgettable atmosphere for our competitors and their families. To everyone who gave it their all for their country and the Invictus Games, thank you and I salute you.”

The duke continued, “From start to finish, there was a special kind of hospitality and energy about these Games and Canada absolutely delivered once again.”
