Britain's Princess Catherine aka Kate Middleton has shared her cancer journey but hasn't disclosed the type of cancer.

She was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer in March last year and after completing her chemotherapy, the future queen is making a gradual return to royal duties.

The Princess of Wales said on Wednesday that despite putting on a “brave face,” the post-cancer treatment phase has proven to be “really difficult.”

“You're not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you're not able to function normally at home,” she said during her visit to the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital.

The wife of Prince William said, “You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment, treatments done, then it's like 'I can crack on, get back to normal' but actually the phase afterwards is really, is really you know difficult you're not necessarily under the clinical team any longer but you're not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to.. And actually someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment I think is really valuable.”

Chatting with patients and staff, Kate emphasized the importance of post-treatment support.

Kate’s visit included planting flowers to highlight the therapeutic benefits of nature and promote awareness of its significance in enhancing physical and mental health.

Later on, a video of the princess visiting the medical facility was also released on the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
