Joe Jonas spills the beans on his summer wardrobe

Joe Jonas is obsessing over clothing from Scotch & Soda this summer.

The 35-year-old singer, who is also an ambassador for the brand, was speaking with People Magazine at Macy's NYC flagship store during a Scotch & Soda celebration.

"Most of my clothing is Scotch & Soda. I got to collaborate with them on a clothing line. It's just really fun. They gave me a lot of freedom, and I took some risks, but they were like, cool, we'll have it done," the Jonas Brothers star began.

"Usually in these kinds of things, they'd send you back a long list of things you can't do, so I felt really grateful that they were so down to work with me. I think it's such a beautiful brand. I love Amsterdam, and we kind of collaborated on New York meets Amsterdam vibe," he explained.

Jonas revealed that this summer he was including a tote bag to his style, especially being in New York. Sunscreen is another fashion essential on his list.

"Summer fashion vibe is comfort," he told the magazine. "Living in New York, today's the day, perfect example. I always bring a tote bag around with me, but I have the essentials in there. A hat, sunscreen, but umbrellas are annoying to me, and until they've figured out how to make them pocket-sized, I won't have one."

Jonas also revealed where the trio stands in deciding their wardrobe for their upcoming Your Hometown tour kicking off in August.

"We're in the middle of figuring out what we're going to wear, but we never really dress according to the weather," he said. "I think it's going to be important because we're going to be sweating through those outfits really fast."

However, Jonas certainly ruled against leather for the New Jersey stage.

"Not much leather, there won't be a lot of leather being worn. I mean you know, fashion can hurt, but that's one choice that we will avoid."
