Spider-Man star Jack Betts has passed away at the age of 96.
On June 19, 2025, the actor died in his sleep at home in Los Osos, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The news of his passing was confirmed by Bett’s nephew Dean Sullivan, known for his role in Rogue (2007), Candy (2006) and Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002).
Bett lived with Doris Roberts, his close friend, before she died in 2016, The duo often went to events together.
Notably, Roberts, the Everybody Loves Raymond actress, also directed a play written by Betts titled, Screen Test: Take One.
Jack Betts is famously known for appearing in numerous soap operas such as One Life to Live, General Hospital, The Doctors, All My Children, Generations, and more.
It is worth mentioning that Bett is survived by his nephew Dean Sullivan, niece Lynne and Gail, and his sister Joan.
