Ellen DeGeneres accused of being 'mean girl'

Margaret Cho has made shocking allegations against Ellen DeGeneres.

During her latest appearance at The Kelly Mantle Show podcast, Margaret said Ellen is someone she’d “known for such a long time.”

She said, “It's so weird now, [the] public perception of her is more true to ... she's mean.”

“She was like a mean girl, kind of, but also she would be real nice,” Margaret added of the former Ellen DeGeneres Show host.

She went on to tell host Kelly Mantle, “I think she always had negative feelings toward me because her girlfriends and wives always liked me. ... There's a kind of woman [who] loves a female comic.”

“... But yeah, Ellen was really weird, and not nice to me for most of my career,” the stand-up comedian said.

It is worth mentioning that Ellen DeGenerous previously faced accusations of toxic work environment reported by former emplyees in a 2020 investigation into the workplace culture of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Notably, the host issued an apology later and took responsibility of what happened.
