Kelsea Ballerini stands up for ex Morgan Evans against fans hurling insults

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans parted ways three years ago, but fans continue to get furious over her songs written about her divorce from the Australian singer.

The 32-year-old country star, however, repeatedly stops in the middle of her shows to shut down any chanting against Evans, explaining that she herself has completely moved on.

However, the i quit drinking hitmaker decided to strictly put an end to the conversation during her recent Sydney concert after she performed Penthouse and someone from the audience yelled out.

Ballerina paused the song and responded, “F--- off,” and then completed the song.

The Cowboys Cry Too songstress took to social media after the show and shared the footage, wrote, “Respectfully, if anyone yells anything disrespectful to anyone during this song again, it will no longer be on the setlist.”

She continued writing on Stories, “Please let this be a song that matters to people and not a place to insert yourself into a world that doesn’t exist and was never yours to begin with. Team everyone’s happy or bust. Please.”

Ballerina released the song in 2023, on her EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, which touches upon the grief of her divorce in 2022.
