Rob Reiner's final moments with TV legend revealed

Sally Struthers, who is considered as Television legend, spoke up about her long working relationship with Rob Reiner earlier this year, only months before his death.

Her memories have now taken on deeper meaning for fans of classic television.

Struthers and Reiner worked together in hit sitcom All in the Family where Reiner played Michael Meathead Stivic, while Struthers portrayed his wife Gloria.

However, the show ran for years and became one of the most important sitcoms in TV history.

In an April 2025 interview with Celebrity Drop, the 78-year-old TV star shared how the late icon behaved during table reads, saying that he often suggested changes to scripts so scenes would work better with the live studio audience.

At first, his ideas caused some tension on the set but over time, the cast and show creator Norman Lear accepted his approach.

Struthers said Reiner encouraged her to think about the success of each episode instead of just worrying about how many lines she got.

She described him as someone who clearly understood how television worked, both creatively and professionally, adding that it felt like he was already planning his future as a director while still acting on the show.

A Man on the Inside actress also opened up about how her relationship with him changed after All in the Family ended.

For the unversed, Rob Reiner and his wife Michele found dead in their Los Angeles home on December, 14.
