Matt Damon has revealed that his best friend Ben Affleck had been the only guest in six months to be on the set of the much-awaited film, The Odyssey.

Presently, the duo is busy promoting their new action-packed film The Rip. In one of the promotional interviews, Ben spoke about how his kids loved visiting the Odyssey set to see Matt filming.

The Jason Bourne star told the 53-year-old on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, “You are the only guest in six months of shooting out there.”

Damon then explained to Fallon, who looked surprised on hearing the revelation, that the forthcoming Christopher Nolan film was so ambitious that there was no time for anything else.

The 55-year-old added, “Yeah.. it was just the work load, it was such an ambitious project that the amount of work that needed to be done, there was no time for anything.”

The Interstellar actor opened that he has never done a film that required every cast member to give their "maximum effort".

Matt then recalled telling Ben after returning from shoot “that every location on that movie would have been the hardest location than any other movie I have ever done and any day at work would be harder than any other day or any other movie I have ever done.”

Directed by Nolan, The Odyssey features Damon alongside Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
