King Charles takes U-turn on Beatrice, Eugenie after ‘upsetting' news

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie had agreed to have “alternative” plans for Easter service this week after a meeting with their uncle, King Charles.

This suggested that the while the royals are trying to maintain a distance, they haven’t yet abandoned the York sisters in the wake of their father’s arrest.

According to a briefing given to DailyMail, the Palace indicated that Beatrice and Eugenie will be seen at future events.

Hence it would seem that Charles had a change of heart with his earlier decision about not inviting Beatrice and Eugenie at Royal Ascot.

In another report by the publisher, it us understood that Charles had extended an invite to his nieces and their husbands for the annual five-day event.

The King is known to be very fond of his two nieces and has often been seen sharing a hug or an endearing moment at public events.

Therefore, it would have been upsetting for Charles to learn that Beatrice and Eugenie’s marriages have hit a rough patch given dark shadow caused by not only the Epstein files but also the withdrawal of royal support after Christmas.

Beatrice is reportedly struggling in her marriage with husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi as reports claims that the two have a “distance” between them. Moreover, Beatrice has been emotional and Edo is not able to offer her the support she needs.

Meanwhile, Eugenie was seen bursting into tears as her husband Jack Brooksbank consoled her. The 36-year-old did seem distressed but it doesn’t seem to stem from her marriage. The couple looks closer than ever.

Moreover, the Royal Ascot is one of the rare events where the royals are all seen together and enjoying the experience. This could be a bonding opportunity that they all need. And maybe, the King could see for himself how his nieces are doing in their lives.
