Madonna takes time off in Venice for romantic escape with Akeem Morris

Madonna managed to squeeze in some romantic moments with her boyfriend Akeem Morris during a recent work trip to Venice.

The Queen of Pop was in the Italian city last month primarily to film scenes for the second season of The Studio, starring her alongside Julia Garner, Michael Keaton and Seth Rogen.

While on set, the Popular hitmaker and Garner, who is set to portray Madonna in a forthcoming biopic, recreated moments inspired by the singer’s iconic Like a Virgin music video.

Filming a gondola scene through the nostalgic Venice’s canals, the 32-year-old actress joined Madonna, 67, paying homage to the classic 1984 track.

On Wednesday, March 31, the Material Girl singer took to Instagram to share a photo dump from the trip, offering fans a glimpse into both her work and personal moments. “Venice was fun…………,” she captioned the post.

Despite her busy schedule, the record producer spent some downtime with Morris, 29, taking in the city’s sights and enjoying intimate outings together.

In one photo, the couple looked cosy during a boat ride, each holding an Aperol spritz as the soccer player leaned in with a warm smile.

Another snap showed the pair strolling the canal, with the Vogue songstress bundled up in a furry coat and her beau dressed in an all-black ensemble.

Alongside the romantic moments, Madonna also included more snapshots from her gondola ride with Garner, which she had previously teased in an Instagram Reel shared on March 23.
