A touching father-son moment between King Charles and Prince William offered a warm glimpse behind the formalities of Trooping the Colour.

As the pair were seen sharing time together with their horses before joining the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the traditional flypast.

The King, a lifelong horse enthusiast, was joined by the Prince of Wales in a quiet moment away from the crowds, where the two were seen tending to their mounts and preparing for the day’s ceremonial duties.

Following the parade, King Charles was later seen personally rewarding his horses with carrots.

He was also seen feeding horses during the Trooping the Colour 2025 celebrations, a small but widely noted moment.

The gesture also evoked long-standing royal tradition, as Queen Elizabeth II was famously devoted to horses and was often seen feeding them apples.

William, also took part in the family’s ceremonial duties before the group gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the spectacular RAF flypast, one of the most anticipated moments of the annual celebration.
