Ed Kelce reflects on his relationship with daughter-in-law to-be Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce's father Ed has declared his excitement about welcoming Taylor Swift into the family, and he has a very specific compliment ready for his future daughter-in-law.
Speaking to FOX 29 Philadelphia on 24 June, Ed Kelce, 75, said Swift reminds him of another woman who married into the Kelce family.
"She is a sweetheart," he said of Taylor. "That is truly the girl next door. Just like Kylie."
The comparison to Kylie Kelce, who married Travis's brother Jason in 2018, is about as warm an endorsement as a prospective father-in-law can offer.
Ed also appears to have some romantic news of his own.
In a 21 June Instagram post, he shared a photo of himself with "the dynamic and gorgeous Doree Hepner" at a summer soul music event in York, though whether she will be joining him at his son's upcoming wedding remains unclear, given that the details of Travis and Taylor's big day are being guarded with extraordinary secrecy.
Even those with invitations are none the wiser about where or when the ceremony will take place.
San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle told Entertainment Tonight on 23 June that he had asked Travis directly and been met with laughter.
"I'm half expecting there to be a jumbo jet on the runway and they put us on a plane somewhere," Kittle said.
"I don't have expectations. I know it's gonna be amazing."
Jason Kelce, for his part, is keeping firmly out of the speculation.
Asked about the wedding rumours on 24 June, he was brief and definitive: "This is not our information to share."
But he made no secret of how he feels about it.
"I'm just very excited, very excited for my brother, obviously a big moment for him. I'm very happy for both of them. I'm looking forward to celebrating with them."
Travis and Taylor got engaged in August.
Rumours continue to swirl about whether the ceremony will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York or somewhere in Rhode Island, but for now, the couple are the only ones who know for certain.
