Queen Camilla receives flowers after issuing a demand to the Sussexes, according to reports, as fresh claims emerge ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s expected return to the UK for the Invictus Games next month.
The Queen was presented with a bouquet of flowers by a young member of the Rainbows, the youngest section of Girlguiding Scotland.
Members of Brownies and Guides were also seen taking part in the celebrations, reflecting the wider involvement of Girlguiding Scotland in the ceremony.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet are said to be preparing for a possible reunion with King Charles during their stay.
However, commentary from UK media suggests tensions remain behind the scenes, with reports claiming Queen Camilla has set out conditions for any private family meeting.
In a segment on TalkTV, presenter Kevin O’Sullivan alleged that the Sussexes may be asked to follow strict rules during any royal residence stay, including handing over phones and banning recording devices, amid concerns over potential leaks.
These claims have not been officially confirmed by Buckingham Palace or the Sussexes’ representatives.
The discussion has also reignited wider commentary about strained relations within the Royal Family, with speculation that any reunion between King Charles, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle would take place privately and under carefully managed circumstances
